What is our
mission
Homebound Ministry serves those in our church family who are not able to attend worship services, who are confined to their homes, nursing homes or hospital beds on a temporary or permanent basis, and would love to attend worship services, church programs and other church events to experience the fellowship and community of their church family on a regular basis.

Here are some
Ways to serve
📞 Phone homebound individuals regularly. It is important for consistency and to build relationships.
✉️ Send encouraging notes. If physical visitation is not possible for you regular notes of encouragement are well received and put a smile on a face.
🚪 Visit a homebound individual at least once a month. Visitation shows commitment -- you may be their only visitor outside of the home and provides an opportunity to ensure the safety of our homebound.
🙏 Pray with homebound/caregivers acknowledging special requests/needs by directing them to the appropriate ministry (i.e.: height Local for Financial or Handyman needs).
✝️ Assist homebound in viewing worship services. The more we can keep them connected to the church the more they will feel like a part of the church family.
🍷 Offer communion to be provided in their home. Communion offers the time to reflect on our relationship with God and remember why we have salvation.
🫴 If asked about tithing/offering, provide the options of online giving or mail in.
How to pray
- That people will be moved to reach out to our Homebound community in meaningful ways.
- That they understand the value they still hold for this church family. their understanding how treasured their lives are in God’s eyes.
- Lift up the cares, concerns and needs of each person each visit as well as prayers of thanksgiving, praise and encouragement.
