Small Groups are the best way to get connected with others at Heights Church. We're not a "program-driven" church, which is why we can keep our costs much lower than the average church our size. We also don't want to keep you running around busy all the time trying to meet all the needs that programs require.

Calendar of Just Adult Ministries

• Prayer and the Word--Join us any time between 6:30-8:00p.m. every Tuesday evening in the lobby of the main building. If you're looking for a quiet place to hear God's word, pray, or be prayed with, come and join us! We have communion and a devotional from 6:30-7:00, and then break up into groups to pray with and for anyone who happens to stop by from 7:00-8:00. Come once in a while or every week; get prayer for urgent needs or just enjoy the company of those who want to lift you up in prayer for just daily life. It's a great place to get support from people who truly care. Come out any Tuesday night and join us!
• DivorceCare- Runs for 13 weeks starting Monday, September 13. Meet from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the upper rooms of the Children's Building. Sign up here.

• GriefShare- A friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you when a loved one or friend dies. Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Worship Center Rooms 101 & 102. Sign up here.
• Dinner Roundtable- Spans 3 months with 3 different singles/couples/families and involves rotating dinner locations. This session runs from September through November, 2010.  Sign up here.
   

• "Get to Know the Heights"- If you can commit to a 4-week gathering that meets during the evening (various nights to fit your schedule), then let us know! Through this group you'll meet other newcomers, learn all about the church, get to know at least 1 pastor, and eat some great dessert. Fill out the  quick online form to let us know you're interested!

• Celebrate Recovery- fellowship and celebrate God's healing power through the 12 steps and 8 recovery principles. This experience allows us to be changed.
  
   By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors.
  This freedom creates peace, serenity,  joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
   
  As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving higher power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true
  higher power.
