Heights Church cares about children with special needs. That's why we're looking for people who care about these kids who could benefit from a little help on the side.

There are two sides to this ministry:

• For kids who can be mainstreamed, they have buddies. They attend a variety of the services, so we need buddies at each service based on when the family chooses to attend. The families generally attend at the same service each week, so the buddy has a set schedule. These buddies don’t require experience, we will train.

• Our “Low Sensory Sunday School” Class is by arrangement. These children require one to two volunteers each. We also need help with this area.  Volunteers who work in this class probably should have some sort of experience, because these kids need specialized assistance.

Our goal is to help parents worship unencumbered with worries and to provide your child with the best experience possible.
