As a staff, we admit it. We're not the average church.

And here's the reason why: We just don't do things that would drive us nuts if we were attending a church.

For instance, secrets. We don't want to go to a church where information is constantly withheld. We wouldn't be happy if the story we got was a far cry from the truth. So we don't do that at The Heights. We tell everyone everything we possibly can. If you don't know something, just ask. We keep a huge set of folders with minutes from every meeting, all financial information, and more. It's our open-books policy, and you're welcomed to visit those books at any time. It doesn't matter how long you've been attending. Just call our office at 928.445.1421 to let us know you're stopping by.

Here's another thing. We think a facility should be used. So we didn't build it to be looked at! Bring your drinks into the auditorium. Or food. Whatever makes you feel comfortable. Even play some hoops outside in between services. On Saturday nights during warm months we serve food and all eat together outside after the 6:00 service. We just want you and your family to feel at home from the first visit.

Oh- and here's our favorite. We don't do politics. There's no ladder to climb here. You don't have to get into the "in" circle in order to serve. Nobody gets special treatment because of who they are or what they do. We walk through struggles together... share victories together... serve together. Want to get involved?
